In 1997, the institution had the silver jubilee celebrations. In 2002, the institution was accredited by NAAC and is awarded B grade. The College got Autonomy from 01.06.2007. The strength of the institution is the faculty, chosen from the cream of academicians from all over India and the students are from different states of the country.
