Welcome to Auxilium College (Autonomous)
Auxilium College, founded in the year 1954, affiliated to the University of Madras, is the first Women’s College in the District. From September 2003, it is affiliated to the newly established Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore.
“Every today is the fruit of yesterday and a seed for tomorrow”.
The Story of Auxilium College began on 1st July 1954. This day stands out as a landmark in the History of the then North Arcot District for it set in motion the transformation of a barren wasteland into a sprawling township with the dawn of higher education for women.
VISION AND MISSION
The Vision of Auxilium College is the education of young women, especially the poor and the marginalised, who have the least opportunities for progress and advancement.
The Mission of the College is to produce in a Salesian atmosphere, intellectually enlightened, spiritually inspired, emotionally balanced, morally upright, socially committed, integrally formed and accomplished young women who will be agents of social change in today`s India.
