Thanthai Periyar E.V.Ramasamy Government Polytechnic College, Vellore 632 002 is a Government. Institution offering full-time Diploma programmes in various branches of Engineering to male and female candidates who have successfully completed 10th standard and 12th standard of school education, are selected according to the rules and regulations framed by the Government of Tamil Nadu now and then and implemented through the Directorate of Technical Education by following the curriculum, syllabus and the evaluation system formulated by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu.

The Polytechnic College has social and moral responsibility of uplifiting the Community through Technical Education and Training is permitted to offer the following programmes apart from full time Diploma Courses.

Three year Diploma Courses through part time study and short term and long term need based, programme of study in specific areas through Continuing Education under Canada India Institutional Co-operation Project.
